Topic for the February 2016 meeting:

Alternatives to InfoPath Forms with Adriana Neagu

You may have heard that Microsoft is retiring their electronic forms solution, InfoPath, without coming up with a replacement product.  InfoPath 2013 will be the last version released, although recently Microsoft made the decision to include InfoPath Forms Services in SharePoint 2016, and has extended InfoPath's support period to match SP2016, ending in 2026.

Still, it begs the question of "what's next?"  What is the way forward for InfoPath users?  What if you have a whole bunch of forms?   Well, the folks at Formotus have a few ideas to help you keep and enhance your forms, and even make them mobile-friendly.

Note: although this meeting centers around a product offering, it is not a paid endorsement, and AKSPUG has no affiliation with Formotus or any of its employees.  We think that although SharePoint is a great platform, it can't do everything, and it's the third party tools that can really bridge the gap.
